Technical Sales Manager

Our client is a global leader in machining solutions with the highest precision and cost-effectiveness, focusing on metal fabricating equipment for CNC machineries. The company concentrates on the complete bore machining and on demanding milling and turning operations using Poly Crystalline Diamond (PCD) and Cubical Boron Nitrite (CBN) tools for automotive and autopart industries. In close proximity to the customers, its subsidiaries ensure with their high level of commitment that its products and expertise are available on markets all over the world.
Main responsibility:
Sales Management & Business Development:
Plan, organize, direct, and control sales staffs to achieve sales target and profit margin.
Establish short & long-term sales plan and strategies to increase sales and new clients to the management.
Achieve forecasted sales by following (and, if necessary, adjusting) your written plan of action each month, quarter, and year.
Monitor daily activities and weekly performance of the team members against each monthly objective.
Coaching, directing, managing, and evaluating sales staffs to achieve sales growth and numbers of new clients.
Other tasks to support the business plan and sales growth in Southeast Asia region.
Channel & Customer Management:
Manage and develop an distribution channels and partners.
Establish and maintain good professional business relationship with existing customers and ensure frequent communications and visits.
Technical Support & Delivery:
Able to solve cutting tool applications, tool testing, mechanical drawing, and provide technical support in metal-fabricating applications.
Monitor and review part inventory.
Qualification and requirements:

Male or Female, age 35 – 55 year old.
Bachelor degree in engineering. Master degree in engineering or business is a plus.
At least 8-year experience in field technical sales in cutting tools and CNC machineries in metalworking, automotive, and auto part industries.
Good command of English both spoken and written (report weekly to foreign General Manager oversea).
Excellent team leader with strong managerial, planning, and analytical skills.
Computer literacy in CAD/CAM and MS Office.

Willing to travel to travel in Indonesia regularly and ASEAN countries sometimes.
Own a vehicle to travel for business.
The experience in Japanese manufacturing is a plus.
